About Me![]() I began my ceramics experience many years ago by joining a group where we bought molded greenware, which we then cleaned and glazed. I made lots of gifts for my family and decorative pieces for my home. Several years later, when I had been "surplussed" from my job as a technical writer, I decided to follow up on my previous ceramics work. I attended ceramics classes at our community college, and really got the bug! I bought out a retiring lady's ceramics studio and I was off and running. I worked for several years making cute and not-so-cute dishes, figures, and odd things that defy classification. My work was interrupted by a move from MN to Indiana, and I did not take it up again for several years. I began again only a couple of months ago, and I am so glad to be back playing in the mud. Most of my current work is hand-built, but I still throw a few pieces on the wheel so I won't forget how to do it. I still use most of my work as gifts for my family and friends. |

My Ceramics![]() Most of my current work is hand-built, but I still throw a few pieces on the wheel. I have divided my albums into pictures of figures, animals, vases, and various dishes. Although most of these are current projects, some of the albums picture work I did before I moved from the frigid north. Click on the Photo button to view my albums. And feel free to make comments or ask questions in my forum - just click the Forum button. Add your links![]() Links to relevant sites are found by clicking the Links button; you can add your own links but please keep them to ceramics-related pages. | ||||
